Tshegofatso Motaung

Tshegofatso Motaung is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and Chief Executive Officer of Cedarleb Africa Group. She is a Chevening Alumna with a Master’s degree in Global Political Economy from University of Sussex and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Accounting.

Her career spans South Africa’s mining and financial services sectors, where she built a strong foundation in finance and governance. She later served as a Trade and Investment Advisor, leading to the founding of Cedarleb Africa to advance African-led development.

A seasoned project manager, she has led SME trade missions across Africa and globally and served on the G20–B20 Trade and Investment Engagement Group and G20 Start-up20 Engagement Group. As CEO, Tshegofatso provides overall strategic leadership and leads Cedarleb Africa’s Global Trade & Leadership Institute, the Group’s thought leadership and capacity-building arm focused on enabling African SMEs to unlock Africa’s prosperity.

Masego Glen Moagi

Mr. Masego Glen Moagi is an Industrial Engineer and Managing Director with a strong track record in building and scaling industrial and manufacturing businesses across Southern Africa. He is the Co-Founder of GMTC Holdings, a diversified industrial group delivering operational services and manufacturing solutions to mining and heavy-industry clients.

With a background in management consulting and smart manufacturing, he applies Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness. An MBA candidate at Warwick Business School, Masego is focused on building African-rooted, globally competitive industrial enterprises. He leads Cedarleb Africa Group’s strategy on minerals and energy services, advancing SME participation across mining and energy value chains.

Patrick Mokwena

Patrick Mokwena is an Eminent Peace Ambassador of the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA) under the United Nations, where he advocates for global peace, inclusive development, and the advancement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Ambassador Mokwena is a technology and media entrepreneur with extensive experience in ICT implementation within the public sector. He served on the ICT in Education project management team for the Northern Cape Province, South Africa, contributing to the strengthening of education systems through digital innovation. His work has been recognised with a Tech Trailblazer Award for implementing innovative ICT solutions, and he has contributed to Operation Phakisa, supporting the use of technology to enhance South Africa’s education outcomes.
He serves as Board Chairperson of Omolemo Trust, which holds media assets, and as Managing Director of PATMOK Holdings, where he is actively involved in food security, agribusiness development, media, and radio broadcasting.
He leads Cedarleb Africa Group’s strategy on Innovation, ICT, and Media projects, driving initiatives aimed at digital transformation and reshaping Africa’s global narrative.
